Schoolhouse Rock Live! Cast and Crew Biographies

Joe Bouvette

Joe was in three plays in middle school. This is his first high school play involvement. Joe’s hobbies include playing his guitar and doing his work at his desk. His dream as a child was to run across Fenway Park naked. Sadly, this dream was never fulfilled so Joe changed his selfish ways and his dream became being in a production of School House Rock Live!

Abby Bruce

Abby has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Her hobbies include hanging out with her friends and laughing. She is very excited to be in Schoolhouse Rock Live! She had a boatload of fun with the Goldsons and Mrs. McKasson at rehearsal and hopes her family loves the show.

John Burgesser

John enjoys performing in plays and musicals. Last year he appeared in Rememberin’ Stuff and Fiddler on the Roof as Motel at Mountain Ridge. When he is not performing in plays he also enjoys participating by being on Stage Crew. John is currently on the MVHS Track and Field team. He is very excited to present School House Rock Live!

Chloe Cook

This is Chloe’s fourth production at Mountain Vista. She worked on both Comedy Night and Once Upon a Mattress last year and was the costume designer for Stage Flight Theatre’s Harvey. She is excited about working with a growing program and hopes to act in the plays next year.

Jeff Craig
This is Jeff’s second play at Mountain Vista, as he was seen in Once Upon a Mattress last year.

Steve Craig

Steve is in Concert Choir and Goldtones at Mountain Vista, and he is also a part of the Continental League choir. Steve plays the guitar and is on the MVHS Junior Varsity soccer team.

Brigid Dodge

Brigid is happy to be performing in her second musical at Mountain Vista. She was the Nightingale in Once Upon a Mattress. She has participated in many theatre internships, and was in Anne of Green Gables and Seussical with the Summer Enrichment Program in Greeley, Colorado. She is also the editor of the Mountain Vista yearbook.

Jeremy Goldson

This is Mr. Goldson’s first year at Mountain Vista. He has degrees and accreditations from Oberlin College and the University of Northern Colorado. He directed Harvey with Stage Flight Theatre, and previously directed Noises Off at Manual High School in Denver and Another Moon Called Earth at UNC. His acting credits include roles in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Normal Subversion. He is thrilled to be associated with the wonderful talent at Mountain Vista!

Keri Goldson

This is Keri’s first production with Stage Flight Theatre. She is a graduate of the University of San Francisco. She previously choreographed The Wiz at Manual High School in Denver, and several pieces at Sarah Lawrence College. She danced with Cleo Parker Robinson Ensemble for seven years. She is very excited to work on Schoolhouse Rock Live! and looks forward to her future with the company.

Jessamyn Hughes

Jessamyn has been in many plays including, most recently, the role of Miss Johnson in Harvey with Stage Flight Theatre. She has also performed with Stage 11, Kid Skits, Spotlight, and Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Center Stage Starz, Castle Rock Players. She is currently with Marbles Kids Acting Agency and John Powers Talent agency. She is thankful for constant support from her family and friends.

Logan Hunter

Logan has been involved with all of the plays at Mountain Vista. He was the sound/run crew head for Comedy Night last year. He was the sound/lights assistant for Once Upon a Mattress and he was the Properties master for the Stage Flight Theatre production of Harvey. He hopes that his position as stage manager will help him to gain experience for his life outside of high school.

Collin Leydon

This is Collin’s first involvement with Stage Flight Theatre. As a child he dreamed of starring in the musical School House Rock Live! and now thanks to Stage Flight Theatre and Jeremy Goldson his dreams have been fulfilled. Some of Collin’s pastimes include swimming for Mountain Vista (in his Speedo) and playing the piano and saxophone (in his Speedo).

John Lucas

John Lucas is lighting designer for School House Rock Live. It is his third production at Mountain Vista, including Lighting Design for Harvey. He starred in Once Upon a Mattress last year. He also worked at Ranch View Middle School and has assisted with Mountain Ridge Middle School. He would like to thank the Academy and his stellar light crew and girlfriend.

Ian McClearn

This is Ian’s first production with Stage Flight Theatre. He is in Concert Choir and plays football at Mountain Vista. He likes to play the guitar and listen to punk rock. He loves his X-Box.

Schehera McKasson

Mrs. McKasson returns to direct her second musical at Mountain Vista, after working on Once Upon a Mattress last year. She is a graduate of The Colorado College and has performed with various choral groups. In college she directed the Colorado College Mixed A Cappella Group Room 46. She is elated to be a part of this fantastic production!

Shannon McKinnon

This is Shannon’s second play with Stage Flight Theatre. She previously appeared as Nurse Ruth Kelly in the Stage Flight Theatre production of Harvey. She also was in Fiddler on the Roof at Mountain Ridge Middle School. She is excited about being the assistant director in School House Rock Live!   She would like to thank her family and friends.

Casey Monsees

Casey participates in the Concert Choir and Goldtones. She loves to sing and dance, and it is quite obvious that she could sing before she could talk. She was seen in Ranch View Middle School’s production of Wizard of Oz as Glenda. She was also seen in Rememberin’ Stuff and was the understudy for Tzietel in Fiddler on the Roof. Casey is very excited about the future of Stage Flight Theatre.

Jerrod Monsees

Jerrod has previously been seen as Sir Harry in Once Upon a Mattress. He is in Concert Choir, Goldtones, and Wind Ensemble. He can also be seen strutting his stuff for the Mountain Vista football, basketball, and track teams. (Go Amigos!)

Lynn Nesbitt

This is Lynn’s second musical. He was also seen in Once Upon a Mattress last year as the Minstrel. He is in the Concert Choir and in Goldtones. In his free time he likes to play his guitar and drive around in his car with his amigos.

Jessica Nicholas

This is Jessica’s first show with Stage Flight Theatre, and she has had a blast! She has been seen in previously in various church musicals such as Come to the Table, and Story-Tellin’ Man. Jessica is also involved in Goldtones and Concert Choir at MVHS, and has sung in the Continental League Choir for the past two years. Jessica has really enjoyed being in School House Rock Live! and she hopes to participate in future Stage Flight Productions.

Maja Paich

Maja has been seen in various band and choir concerts and participated in various plays. She was seen in the Wizard of Oz in second grade as a munchkin and as Dorothy. This is Maja’s second production at Mountain Vista.   She was featured last year in Once Upon a Mattress as Lady Larkin and is thrilled to now be in Schoolhouse Rock Live! She looks forward to a great future with Stage Flight Theatre.

Caitlin Pilkington

Caitlin has been singing and acting since she was a child. She was part of a community theatre group and performed in such plays as Alice in Wonderland, Little Red Hen, and Billy Goats Gruff. She sings in the Concert Choir and is part of Goldtones. She was seen last year in Once Upon a Mattress as Merrill Lady in Waiting. Caitlin is really, really excited to be playing Shulie in School House Rock Live! and would like to thank her parents for always supporting her.

Matthew Plamp

Matthew is a freshman at Mountain Vista and has worked on sound in middle school. He was the sound designer for Stage Flight’s production of Harvey. He has also worked on sound for plays and concerts at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.

Zack Proffitt

Zack Profitt was born in Chicago and this is his first play, but has been involved in theatre for 2 years and choir for 9 years. He enjoys eating, snowboarding, hanging out with friends and causing trouble. He also enjoys long walks on the beach and romantic dinners under moonlight.

Kevin Riggall

This is Kevin’s second production with Stage Flight theatre. He was the Co-Lighting designer for Harvey. He is very excited to be involved in this show and those to come in the future. He has worked on productions at Cresthill Middle School and Highlands Ranch High School prior to Stage Flight.

Christine Sharpe

Christine Marie Sharpe is an amazing actress and vocalist born in Goldsburro, North Carolina. Our southern belle performed in Mountain Vista’s Comedy Night and Once Upon a Mattress her freshmen year. The Colorado Children’s Chorale was blessed with her singing and dancing talents for 4 years. She’s excited to be a part of this show and thanks everyone who has supported her and helped her out.

Justin Shepler

This is Justins first time working with Stage Flight Theatre. He loves comedy, moonlight dinners, and nice walks on the beach. He also loves acting. He performs in Concert Choir at Mountain Vista and enjoys cross-country running. He is excited to be working with Stage Flight Theatre.

Holly Stabler

This is Holly’s second production with Stage Flight Theatre as she was on properties crew for Harvey. Holly is in a competitive improvisation group called Destination Imagination. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going to the movies.

Alexandra Trow

Alexandra Trow is thrilled to be performing in her third production with Mountain Vista’s Stage Flight Theatre. She played Veta Louise Simmons in Harvey, Queen Aggravaine in Once Upon a Mattress, Rebecca in Our Town (LIDA Project), Clara in 1933 (Denver Center Theatre Fest), and other roles with various community theatres. Alex would like to thank her parents and brother for tolerating her stressed out shmn-nn-nahs, looks forward to more productions at Mountain Vista, and would like to thank all you brilliant theatergoers for coming to the show!

Miranda Wathen

Miranda Wathen has been in singing since she was three. She is in Concert Choir and Goldtones at Mountain Vista and is also in the Continental League choir. Last year Miranda was seen in Once Upon A Mattress as Lady Lucille. Miranda feels truly blessed to be part of this production. She believes this school has a great future and she is thrilled to start the future off right.

Perry Watzke

This is Perry’s first show with Stage Flight Theatre. He sang in the choir in elementary school, but this is his first time on the big stage. Perry likes to snowboard, go to action movies, and hang out with his friends and do crazy, but legal, things. But his favorite thing to do is to act and make people laugh.

Wendy Whitley

Wendy has been participating in musical events since elementary school where she was in both band and choir. In fourth grade, Wendy performed her first major role, which was the main orphan in Oliver Twist and also starred as the scarecrow in Ranch View’s production of Wizard of Oz. Last year she performed in Once Upon a Mattress as Winnifred.

Laura Winter

Laura was in the Colorado Children’s Chorale for three year where she performed at Boetcher Hall. Laura is in the Continental League choir, Women’s Ensemble and Goldtones at Mountain Vista. This is Laura’s first performance with Stage Flight Theatre, but she was in Fiddler on the Roof at Mountain Ridge. She feels lucky to be in this musical because it has been a great experience. She would like to send Orange soda in a tall glass with crushed ice glitter kisses to “The People” and all of her adoring fans!
